2nd Shoulder Surgery Congress

The scientific lectures were the highlight of the Second Shoulder Surgery Conference, marked by the presence of specialized attendees. The conference was highly successful, offering valuable medical information from which everyone benefited. A spirit of cooperation was evident among all participants as they exchanged scientific and medical knowledge. The event served as a forum for sharing opinions, ideas, and the latest advancements in shoulder surgery.

Live surgical procedures were also performed and broadcast directly to the audience through cameras from inside the operating rooms.

One of the key elements contributing to the success of the conference was the leadership of Dr. Mustafa Al-Fadhli, along with several distinguished guests, including Dr. Maher Al-Assal, Head of the Orthopedic Department at Assiut Hospital, and Dr. Mustafa Al-Sharif, a Shoulder Surgery Consultant from Canada. Their contributions enriched the conference with high-level scientific lectures. I wish everyone continued success, and God willing, we look forward to meeting again next year at the third conference.
In the same context, the visiting physician from Turkey, Professor Özkan, said:
“I am the Head of the Orthopedic Surgery Department at Izmir University in Turkey, and this is my first visit to Benghazi to attend the events of the Second Shoulder Joint Surgery Conference at Benghazi Medical Center. During the conference, I delivered several lectures and performed a surgical operation on a case that had been suffering from an injury for four years, which had caused joint stiffness, friction, and tendon tears. As part of the workshop held during the conference, a reverse shoulder joint replacement was performed, and thanks to God, the procedure was successful.”
